  25. 1 tbsp oil
  26. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  27. 1 tbsp urad dal
  28. 1/2 tbsp chana dal
  29. 1 spring curry leaves

Steps to make to make Rava Uttapam with Coconut Chutney

  1. Arrenge all mentioned ingredients at one place.
  2. In a bowl add semolina, rice flour, curd, salt to taste, grated ginger, chopped green chilli, chopped curry leaves, baking soda and 1cup water and mix it well.Add little water as needed to get a dropping consistency batter. Then rest aside for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Now heat up a pan add oil and spread it. Wipe the oil a little with tissue so that the base of uttapam turns out nice and even.Now pour a ladder full of batter at the centre of the pan and spread it round shape.
  4. Now sprinkle some chopped onion, capsicum, tomato, coriander leaves and red chilli powder and press a little so that it will stick well to uttapam.
  5. Add a little oil on uttapam and along its edges.when the base is firm, flip it and cook it on the other side until it is cooked well. Cook on medium flame.
  6. Making Chutney - In a grinder jar add coconut, green chillies, cumin seeds,rosted Peanuts, salt and grind it into a fine paste. Heat oil in a tadka pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves and fry until nutty brown.
  7. Now remove the coconut paste in a bowl add lemon juice and tempering then mix everything properly.
  8. Serve hot Rava Uttapam with Coconut Chutney.
